Wed, April 28AI-Assisted Software Engineering
Software has long been gatekept by syntax. Today, those barriers are disappearing, opening software creation to a much wider group of people. What does that mean for the next generation of builders, and for the engineers who have spent years developing their craft?
In this keynote, you will explore the democratisation of software and the question many engineers are asking: what happens to my job? Drawing on real-world examples, science, and history, the session examines what this shift means for new builders and existing software engineers alike.
What You Will Learn
How the barriers to building software are changing
What the democratisation of software means for new builders and existing engineers
How real-world examples, science, and history can help us think about the changing role of software engineers
Who Should Attend
Software Developers, Engineers, Technical Leads, Engineering Managers, and anyone interested in how software creation and engineering roles are changing.
