Works in all Browsers! Interoperability Beyond Availability
Tue, 22 April
Baseline provides a snapshot of the web features supported by all browsers, but feature availability is just the first step in creating the best modern web experience. This talk goes beyond listing what's possible across browsers—it helps you determine what’s best for your product using the tools available today.
We’ll explore how to combine features across browsers to create modern, adaptable, and resilient layouts. You’ll also learn about modern UI patterns that are now easier to implement, and whether updating your implementation with the latest features can make your code more maintainable and resilient. By addressing these questions and more, this session equips you with practical knowledge to optimize cross-browser functionality and build consistent, high-performing web experiences.
Target Audience: This session is designed for Front-end Developers who work on building modern, responsive web applications and want to ensure cross-browser compatibility. UI/UX Designers will also benefit from learning how modern web features can be leveraged for adaptable and resilient design. Web Architects and Tech Leads involved in overseeing web projects will find value in understanding how to prioritize features for interoperability and code maintainability across different browsers.
