Infinite Scaling – Computing in the Browser
Wed, 26 April, 12:40 PM - 1:10 PM GMT+5:30
On the modern web, many workloads that have traditionally been performed on a server can now be performed within the browser itself. This can result in reduced costs, a smaller security footprint, and a web-app that is both more responsive and easier to maintain.
This presentation will cover the basics of this browser-focused approach: when can it be applied? When is it not a good fit? How much money can I save? Through practical examples, you’ll also learn about the potential challenges, and will be presented with a roadmap describing how to get started with your own app.
