Scaling Servers with Virtual Threads
Wed, 23 April
Threads are lightweight, but they do not scale well. That's one of the reasons we have been focused on the elastic capabilities of the cloud. Unfortunately, that has an impact on both the environment and your company's wallet. In this presentation, we will learn how virtual threads reduce those impacts and help us create scalable applications with minimal changes to code.
Target Audience: This session is primarily aimed at Back-end Developers, as virtual threads are a key enhancement for improving the scalability of back-end systems without requiring significant code changes. Software Architects are the secondary audience, as they need to understand how virtual threads can influence system architecture, particularly when designing high-performance, scalable applications.
