The finance industry operates with a huge volume of information, that are stored as documents in both a structured and unstructured manner. The industry will fundamentally evolve by the development of a computational system that can extract knowledge from this vast set of documents, link them to the existing databases and store them in a form, which can be deployed for a large variety of professional tasks.

Sarang Shrivastava is an associate within the Engineering division at Goldman Sachs in Bengaluru. Sarang is a part of the artificial intelligence research and development team within the firm, with a rich experience in the information extraction paradigm of Natural Language Processing that explores deep learning models to solve real life business use cases. Sarang has earned bachelors from National Institute of Technology, Allahabad in Computer Science and Technology.
