Then you can take your new knowledge back to the office and hold a training session for your co-workers.

Networking opportunities galore -- breakfasts and lunches, time in the expo hallways, breaks between sessions, receptions -- every minute you're not in a session is an ideal opportunity to meet fellow developers from all walks of life, not to mention meeting some of the creators, luminaries, authors, committers, community heroes, best speakers and experts from around the world. Conference Chair
The job of the conference chair is to put together a program that attracts and informs the attendees. Many submissions in a category indicate a lot of interest in presenting on a particular topic, not necessarily a lot of interest in hearing about a topic. In the end, therefore, the conference is for the attendees, not the presenters. Thus the program chair will, in an effort to create a balanced and exciting program, arrange for speakers to present on particular topics. That is their job. More details on the conference chair coming soon.
